The 64 gates in Human Design

The sixty-four gates match the I Ching hexagrams around the bodygraph. Each gate is an energy theme: a precise way of thinking, feeling, or acting.

• A planet (Sun, Moon, etc.) sits in that mandala slice at birth.
• Personality (often black): conscious; design (often red): unconscious.
• A single gate does not form a channel: it colors a center and may stay as a waiting theme.

1. Sun and Earth gates (incarnation cross).
2. Activations in defined centers.
3. Gates in open centers: where you often absorb others' energy.

On Body Graph Studio, each activation shows gate and line. The library has a card per gate; Gene Keys offer another angle (shadow, gift, siddhi) on the same number.

The same number (e.g. gate 22) matches a Gene Key. Human Design reads the mechanics in the bodygraph; Gene Keys read the shadow, gift, siddhi spectrum.
