Gate 7 (The Army) sits in the G Center. It carries the Self's leading role: sensing where to go and holding the authority to take others there. Public influence is not always visible; often it is direction from behind the scenes, from democratic to more authoritarian depending on the line.
Gate 31 (Influence) gives voice and status so the collective can hear it. Together they form the Channel of the Alpha (7-31).
