A question or dilemma is named, then the Reflector lets the roughly 28-day lunar cycle pass through all (or nearly all) 64 hexagrams. Clarity may arrive early, late, or not at all; the strategy does not change: wait out the full cycle before putting anything into practice.
The marker is a sharp clarity, hard to confuse with the mood of the day: stable confidence that the decision should be made this way. If the cycle ends without that clarity, the decision is postponed rather than forced.
